The beautiful gardens at Ewanrigg were originally developed by the botanist Harold Christian who, in the late 19th century, built a farm here. At his death, the land was given to the State, which made it a public garden. The garden contains more than 57 varieties of aloes, as well as many other plants and flowers, such as fuchsias, bamboos, cacti, cycas... Half an hour from downtown, you will have the possibility to picnic on the site.
