Econet Wireless is Zimbabwe's largest telephone and Internet provider. Econet branches can be found in almost every shopping center in Harare and all major cities have them. There is also a branch at the Harare airport. To purchase top-ups, formal and informal sales outlets abound throughout the country, in supermarkets, stores and markets. Note that a new SIM will only be functional if it is registered at an Econet branch with a valid ID.
