Marine park with many marine species and coral gardens

Less well known than Blue Bay in the south-east, the Balaclava Marine Park is however larger and just as attractive. Located opposite the row of hotels lining the bay and on either side of it, it occupies 485 hectares from the beach to a kilometre beyond the reefs. Most of it is in shallow water making it an ideal site for a first dive or for a simple exploration with mask, fins and snorkel. The park serves as a refuge for many marine species and coral gardens.
