URBAN BOURBON TRAIL

From 1780 to the present, Louisville has always been the home of many distillers. Thus, in the 1920 s, part of the main street of Downtown was known as Whiskey Row, with almost 50 distilleries active. Now there are several places in town where you can taste the famous Kentucky bourbon in all its forms. This is the object of the Urban Bourbon Trail. This is not a marked route, but a list of recommended addresses identified by the Urban Bourbon Trail Ηmembers. As with Bourbon Trail, a specific passport will be given to you during your first visit (it can also be withdrawn at the Visitor Center of the city or downloaded). When 6 establishments have been visited and stamped, you will become officially a citizen of Bourbon Country and receive a special t-shirt. An application for Smartphones is downloadable on the website to guide you and act as an electronic passport. At the end of 2018, 44 bars and restaurants were part of the Urban Bourbon Trail.
