Museum exhibiting everyday objects dating from the 18th to the early 20th century and works by artists in residence.
This 1730 house faces the beautiful port of Cos Cob. It was a boarding house for Connecticut's first artists' colony from 1890 to 1920. At that time, writers, painters, and art students took up residence here. Restored and operated by the Historical Society of Greenwich, which offers guided tours, the museum now displays artifacts from the 18th to early 20th centuries as well as works by the artists in residence.
