Denver International Airport (DIA) is the tenth world airport in terms of passengers, so logically it is a major connecting hub for many airlines such as Frontier Airlines, United Airlines, or Southwest Airlines. More than 30 national and international airlines serve the destination. The airport consists of a main terminal, called the Jeppesen terminal, and is divided into three halls (A, B and C) connected by a subway.
By train. Line A offers 8 stops between Denver Airport Station and Union Station. The journey lasts 37 minutes and costs US $ 9 (trains every 15 minutes). The first train leaves the airport at 4:12 a. m. and the last one at 00:07.
By bus. Regional Transit Disctrict (RTD) ensures transfer from airport to downtown and many other destinations. To reach the airport bus station from the south of the Jeppesen terminal, exit through the glass doors and take the escalators to the level of the transit center. Tickets go: US $ 9, pay attention to the currency. Departure every 15 minutes at peak times.
By taxi. Count about US $ 60 to reach the center of Denver. Several companies are accessible from level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal (Ilsand 1 - Doors 505, 507 and 511 East Hall and Doors 506, 510 and 512 of the West Hall): All Cities Taxi (++1 720 440 7000), Denver Yellow Cab (++1 303 777 7777) or Freedom Cabs Inc (++1 303 444 4444). Possibility to share a taxi with different destinations (multiple drop offs). Count the additional $ 5 US $ race for each different deposit (in the same area).
A shared shuttle. Several shared shuttle services are available from level 5 of the Jeppesen Level Terminal (island 5 - doors 505-507 for the East Hall and doors 510-512 for the West Lobby). The price depends on the number of passengers and the destination: Super Shuttle International Denver (++1 800 525 3177), Greeley Shuttle (++1 970 353 2502), Longmont Shuttle (++1 720 223 5474).
In ride share. For flights in Uber or Lift, go to Level 6 (or Level 5 for Uber Black and SUV) and follow the directions indicated (attention two different rallying points for East Hall and West Hall).
Note that many hotels offer free shuttle systems from and to the airport. Find out in advance.
