Visitor Center with rangers in Everglades National Park with information for a visit

This Visitor Center, located in a temporary structure, welcomes you in Flamingo to give you the information you need for your visit. Like the Gulf Coast Center, it is authorized to issue permits for camping on the Wilderness Waterway (US$21 administrative fee and US$2 per person per night). Don't hesitate to ask questions of the rangers, who are very knowledgeable about the opportunities in the area. Renovations are underway to modernize this center, whose original building was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in 2017.

Un visitor center bien situé, au bout de la route qui permet de découvrir les différents trails au cœur des Everglades.
Le centre possède des WC.
