The southernmost campground in Everglades Park, open year-round and equipped with solar showers and restrooms
Flamingo Campground is the southernmost campground in the park. Open year-round, it has a capacity of about 270 tents, but only 41 of the sites have access to electricity (at an additional cost). It is equipped with solar showers and sanitary facilities. A Visitor Center is located at the campground, where you can book guided tours with rangers. A canoe and kayak rental shop and a small supermarket are also located at the nearby marina. You can also fish for your meal and cook it on the available barbecues.

Absolutely the best to be with nature!!! Beautiful place to camp, the marina store has all your supplies and in the morning they have breakfast burritos also for sale 10$ but very well worth it! Bring the family , please respect nature and pick up after yourself so others can continue to enjoy.

Really nice place , lots of manatees and wildlife ,great staff , and be prepared for mosquitos. I went on march no mosquitos at all, but I know they are the worst part of the park ,use long sleeves and pants, and enjoy. I ll definitely come back again .

We camped here for 2 nights the last week of March - the weather was perfect and there were practically no mosquitoes! This was our first visit to the Everglades and we are happy we spent a few days camping at this location. Sitting at your tent and seeing spoonbills and ibis flying over is pretty great! Also, close to the Flamingo Marina where you can rent kayaks (or join free Ranger Kayak tours if in season) or see the manatees bobbing around or the resident Osprey flying around. Facilities were good and clean. I do think 2 days is the most I would plan to stay here, unless you plan to go on several kayak/boating trips.
