URSKOG-HØLANDSBANEN TERTITTEN - STEAM TRAIN

Every Sunday from mid-June to the end of August, a small steam train sets off through the valley for a nostalgic and... slow journey. Built in the 1890s, the Tertitten steam train was abandoned in 1960, as its track gauge did not match the rest of the railway network. Today this tourist route runs for 3 km along the banks of Norway's most important river, the Glomma. A nice activity about 30 minutes from Oslo.
