The truffle butter pasta is AMAZING. This dish would cost $115 in the US, but here we got it with extra truffles for €25. Incredible. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Italy. The restaurant staff is also great and the view is incredible. Highly recommend. Plus they have parking.

The problem is that they did not secure my reservation made a month ago for a special occasion. They offered me a table but not with the requests I had asked for, close to the lake (despite many tables were empty). They pretend to be a luxury restaurant but they do not act like this, they do not respect clients and bookings, they look down on you - that is a big mistake in restaurants for a very specific type of people.

Beautiful restaurant in Como, by the water.
Great location for lunch or dinner, in our case we went in for dinner and we were amazed by how good the food was(fantastic)
Our drive from Milan to Como for dinner was absolutely worthy it for the amazing experience we had here.
Desserts options were great but unfortunately they didn’t have anything appealing for dairy intolerants besides fruits…
They have great and wide wine list for the wine lovers.
I look forward to visiting during the summer. must be charming.

gli do 5 stelle perchè è veramente un locale bello ed accogliente con un personale che cura molto la permanenza all'interno premiando con mille attenzioni il cliente di livello.
ottimi i tagliolini al tartufo ed il vino bianco ordinato,
il fegato d'oca non era il massimo, ma non essendo un prodotto tipico glie lo concedo come unico neo, fantastica la faraona ed il dolce. complimenti

Ottima esperienza culinaria proprio difronte al lago,servizio ottimo e qualità del cibo davvero fantastica che insieme alla location renderanno la serata indimenticabile. Tornerei volentieri,prezzo alto ma giustificato dalla splendida vista e dalla qualità di cibo e servizio.

Amazing location, very elegant and beautiful restaurant. Stunning views. Outstanding service. Upscale, but with moderate prices. We had a big group and got to try several dishes from the menu.
Everything was delicious, flavorful and nicely presented. Would love to come back on a warmer day and enjoy the view from their patio.

Location mozzafiato, camerieri cordiali, ma dalla cucina mi aspettavo qualcosa di più, soprattutto visto i prezzi, non ho mangiato male, ma nessun piatto mi è rimasto particolarmente impresso per il suo sapore, cosa che invece mi sarei aspettata in un posto del genere. In generale è un'esperienza da provare almeno una volta nella vita se si passa da quelle parti.

Location suggestiva, servizio impeccabile. Mi aspettavo di più sulla qualità del cibo. Gli antipasti di lago avevano forti note acide. Il fritto era prevalentemente verdura e poco pesce. Ho trovato anche un po' di lische... Peccato , a mio giudizio si può migliorare.

Locale bellissimo con una vista che parla da sé ciò che colpisce è la disponibilità nonché la cortesia di tutto il personale di sale. Persone preparate e gentili, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Che dire del cibo… beh tutto squisito, personalmente ho provato i ravioli ripieni di pesce di lago semplicemente ottimo. Ampia carta di vini davvero ben selezionati consiglio però il vino prodotto dai proprietari è un bianco ed è in carta, ottimo.

Vorrei mettere in guardia il personale alberghiero di tutto il mondo dal pericolo del ristorante Crotto dei Platani in quanto ci ho lavorato una settimana. Sconsiglierei vivamente a tutti di accettare proposte di lavoro dal ristorante Crotto dei Platani sopratutto in sala perché rischiereste di fare un viaggio a vuoto. Hanno un turnover molto alto e cambiano parecchie camerieri.
Inoltre, ci lavora una persona squilibrata.
La casa dove dorme il personale è lontana e per raggiungere il ristorant occorre fare 500 metri a piedi su una statale PERICOLOSISSIMA e TRAFFICATA DA CAMION E TIR. Infine il mangiare per il personale lascia molto a desiderare.

AVVISATO È MEZZO SALVATO.

I had a serious food allergy and they refused to make pasta aglio e olio. Not only that, the restaurant was empty and they refused to sit me beside my family that flew across the world to see Italy when the restaurant was empty, the service was so poor we are still taking about it 6 months later and will never forget it.

J'ai mangé avec des amis au crotto del platani lors de mon passage à Brienno. Belle découverte! Joli jardin et cadre sympathique.
