We go down a few steps to reach the vaulted room; on the walls, copper pots and pans and photos of the lake at the beginning of the century. But the real soul of the Vicolo is indeed her: Lilli. When she's not at the stove, she turns between the tables to chat with the customers and ask if the fish is well grilled, or if the local wine is to your taste.
