RESIDENZSCHLOSS UND SPIELKARTEN MUSEUM - ALTENBURG CASTLE AND MAP MUSEUM

The former residence of the Dukes of Saxony-Altenburg is a remarkable Baroque building. Its 18th and 19th century interiors have been very well preserved and their visit is worth a visit. Especially since part of the castle has been transformed into a card museum. An opportunity to discover how Altenburg became the capital of Skat, the very popular German game.
