DOMSCHATZ

The Treasury Chamber is one of Germany's most important collections of religious art in a dependency of the Cathedral (Münster). In particular it presents jewels from the ottonienne era (th century): Decorated cross, a gold crown, possibly that of Emperor Otto III of the Saint Empire… And the highlight of the collection: a massive virgin gold, the oldest in Europe. It dates back to 980.
