PASSEIG JAUME I

Passeig Jaume I is the avenue that borders Salou's main seafront. It is dotted with a variety of tourist facilities, including children's parks, chiringuitos, monuments such as the one to Jaume I (a tribute to the reconquest of Mallorca) and some impressive fountains (the famous ornamental fountains). Also worth mentioning are the magnificent modernist villas - called Xalets - such as Casa Bonet, Villa Enriqueta, Casa Torremar, Casa Verge de la Pineda, Villa Rosa and Torre Loperena.
