Museums housed in the former church rectory in Otepää: the Flag Museum and the Ski Museum.
The former church presbytery houses two museums: firstly, the Flag Museum, which traces the history and origins of the Estonian flag. The former still exists and is occasionally displayed on the Tallinn Town Hall. Here you can learn how the flag's color combination (black, white and blue) came about, how it was adopted as the national flag in 1922, how it survived communism and its return to independence.
