AQUA

Seafood Restaurant €€
5/5
1 review

Despite its posh restaurant feel, and its menu featuring lobsters and crayfish, Aqua is still quite affordable. Established in 2000 in the former Howth Yacht Club, this fish restaurant has maintained its menu at excellent value for money. The kitchens are open to the main room, which is itself surrounded by picture windows overlooking the sea. If the sunset is too bright, Aqua is happy to lend you sunglasses. Don't forget to book in high season, as the place is very popular.

This charming traditional restaurant, housed in a beautiful Georgian building, is famous for its seafood dishes. The simple but tasty food has been delighting the locals since 1971. The King Sitric also offers hotel rooms, which are recommended if you want to stay in Howth for a few days. The restaurant shares the premises with the East Café to the right of the room. With a small bar and high stools against the glass windows, you can watch Howth harbour wake up while enjoying a hot cappuccino. A nice address.

A wall of shells, red leather seats and benches, Crabby Jo's is the restaurant side of the adjacent Wright of Howth seafood and grocery store. Here they revisit their wares to garnish your plates in a family-friendly atmosphere. From excellent lobster to traditional fish and chips, as well as a few meat dishes, you're in for a treat! The menu also includes a fine selection of fruit juices, pancakes and good full Irish breakfasts.
