The village of Howth, 30 minutes from Dublin city center, is a charming little fishing port at the entrance of a peninsula whose cliffs offer splendid walks. If you are looking for a bit of seclusion without being too far from civilization, this is the perfect place for you. It is also a paradise for birdwatchers, fishermen, sea lovers, hikers and sailors... From a purely practical point of view, Howth has a mini-market, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, a few (rather chic) clothes stores, but above all dozens of restaurants and pubs, three golf courses and a yacht club. A nice getaway.
