MÜZESI GARDEN

Located since 1995 in the former building of the Syriac Catholic Patriarchate, the Mardin Museum is housed in this beautiful 19th century mansion which has been successfully renovated. It houses a humble collection presenting various everyday objects found in Mardin, some dating back to 4000 BC and from the site of Girnavaz, the ancient city of Nawila, near the Syrian border. Temporary exhibitions are also organized, covering the fields of photography and painting
