This small museum in the center of town, opposite the main square, tells the story of the Japanese settlers who arrived in the early 1960s to found the Yguazú colony. Some came directly from Japan, others from La Colmena further south, the cradle of Japanese immigration to Paraguay. Photographs, farm tools and machinery, everyday objects and Japanese handicrafts donated by families take us back to the colony's early days.
