100 m south of Ruta 7, on a street running parallel to the main road, an authentic Buddhist temple of the Sōtō lineage of Japanese Zen Buddhism. The temple, with its traditional architecture, is a space for meditation (zazen) and the dissemination of Japanese culture. It's not a tourist area, but respectful visitors are obviously welcome. We are usually welcomed by a Brazilian monk who is deeply steeped in Japanese culture and language.
