MUSEO MOISÉS BERTONI
The old wooden house presents Bertoni's scientific legacy and history. On display are microscopes, herbariums, insect collections, the pedal press where he printed his articles, books and manuscripts. Also worth seeing is the arboretum, featuring exotic species introduced by Bertoni, the family cemetery at the foot of a cypress tree, and trails that can be accompanied by an Indian guide. The Avá and Mby'a families who live here offer handicrafts. The museum was still closed in 2025, so find out when it is likely to reopen.
