Monastery on the highest point of Santorini welcoming tourists again.
Founded in 1711, this monastery welcomes tourists again during the services. Don't take pictures inside without permission, but take comfort in the view. You are indeed on the highest point of Santorini, perched at 567 meters. Apart from you, only television aerials cover this rocky hill. Just for that alone, you won't regret the climb. Preferably with a vehicle. Be careful, a proper attire is required.

En fait, on ne peut le visiter que lors de grande occasion, en dehors de ça, hors de question de s'en approcher. Dommage, en revanche la vue sur Santorin est très belle.

Nous sommes allés visiter le monastere, en quad, pas grand chose à voir, un peu décu. par contre le chemin pr y acceder donne un beau panorama sur toute l'ile, sympa pour les photos ou admirer le coucher de soleil
