Rîbnița faces Rezina. Archeological remains from the time of the Gets and the Scythians were discovered there. Rîbnița enjoyed an interesting position on the trade routes connecting the Baltic Sea region with the Black Sea. Continuing towards Camenca, pass through Stroentsy and Rașcov. Stroentsy is situated in a valley perpendicular to the Dniestr where you can walk, eat, stay and see a wind tower. Founded in 1402, Rașcov was an important commercial centre until the 19th century with a strong Jewish community with several synagogues and a strong Polish community of which the Catholic Church of St. Gaetan remains.
