CHURCH OF THE HOLY ARCHANGELS MICHEL-AND-GABRIEL

This beautiful church dates from 1883. It was built in brick in the Roman-Byzantine style following the model of the Russian churches of the 17th century by the masters of the Genoese school of Orhei and Akkerman. The walls are one meter thick, it is crowned by six domes (two large and four small). Inside, there are some very beautiful icons including The Distribution of the Graces of the Blessed Virgin dating from 1899 and The Blessed Virgin and Jesus Christ from 1908.
