PRIMARIA CĂUŞENI

Căușeni was first mentioned in a 1455 document. However, the area was already populated in antiquity and the Romans had installed defences in the area during the reign of Emperor Trajan. In the 16th century, the locality was a commercial centre and the Crimean khan resided there. The town hall is located near the church of the Dormition-of-the-Mother-of-God (Assumption-of-the-Mary).
