GAGAUZ SOFRASI

The village of Congaz is famous for this restaurant which also offers accommodation and has a museum. The place is very beautiful and original, using the traditional gagaouze decoration: carpets and embroideries with very colourful floral motifs, wooden furniture, cushions... The atmosphere is very warm. The menu proposes an excellent gagaouze cuisine: grilled meats, gözleme (pancakes filled with cheese, vegetables or meat), șurpa (soup)... A large choice of quality wines is available. A pretty garden surrounds the place.
