GARA CENTRU

This bus station serves the domestic lines to the cities in the centre of the country, Transnistria and Romania. Maxitaxis are present at Gara Centru, just behind Piaţa Centrală, they connect Tiraspol (45 lei) and Tighina/Bender (38 lei), every 20 to 35 minutes. Daily connections are available to Bucharest (200 lei), the journey takes 12 hours. To Orhei, in the north, buses leave every half hour from Casele Suburbane, 100 m west of Gara Centru (28 lei). There are other bus stations in the capital.
