The attractive restaurant of the Cantine Ascheri Hotel offers meals that are much more affordable than one of the rooms. In the vaulted room or under the pergola, you will be tempted by the daily specials marked on the slate or the menu that changes every week. The proposals follow the market's arrivals, for dishes of great freshness, although you will always find the essentials such as Bra sausage, gnocchi alla Castelmagno (tomato and basil) and a plate of local cheeses, all accompanied by a good wine.

Here's a good family-run Piedmontese brasserie just the way we like it! Everything about this restaurant, which opened in 1919, is traditional, from the retro decor of the dining room to the menu, which pays homage to the region. Must-tries: agnolotti (small meat ravioli), braised meats with local wines (nebbiolo, arneis...), boiled cuts of meat, snails or tripe, and finally bunet (typical Piedmont flan with almonds and cocoa). The service is perfect, and the wine list has no false notes!

A superb wine list honors the local vineyards. When the weather's fine, the terrace is a delight.
