PACHUKA BEACH

At the northern end of the Lido, this large Caribbean-style bar (according to the owners) is a favorite summer hangout for the fashionable young. The atmosphere is inevitably informal and relaxed (or is it artificial?). Self-service at lunchtime, in the evening Pachuka becomes a respectable fish restaurant where it's good to end the evening with friends. Around midnight, the bar-restaurant-self-service dons its late-night disguise and disguises itself one last time as a nightclub. It's the place to be in summer. From Friday to Sunday, concerts are held, while Wednesdays are devoted to jazz. It's the only nightclub in Venice where the atmosphere is truly lively.
