We booked the Storia tour for a large group, and it was an incredible experience. Beautiful scenery and an interesting walking tour and lecture of the resort's history, plus some good wine tasting at the end! We'll definitely be booking this for next year.

È un'esperienza che non posso che consigliare a chiunque. Al di là del luogo in cui si trova (Mazzorbo-Burano), che è appunto un luogo di magia totale, qui ci possiamo consentire il lusso di lasciarsi andare al tempo ed allo spazio che ci circonda. Forse difficile da immaginare ma sicuramente da provare

Zwei Gehminuten von der Vaporetto-Haltestelle Burano entfernt, gleich hinter der Brücke, die die Inseln Burano und Mazzorbo verbindet, befindet sich Tenuta Venissa: ein ummauerter Weinberg, der für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist,ein magischer Atmosphärischer Ort hier kann man spazieren gehen und entspannen!

Der von einer Mauer umgebene Weinberg von Venissa beherbergt den Weinberg Dorona di Venezia, eine einheimische venezianische Rebsorte, die nach dem großen Hochwasser von 1966 fast verschwunden war.

Neben dem Weinberg ist es möglich, die Gemüsegärten zu besuchen, die von neun Rentnern der Insel verwaltet werden, die in den Frühlingsmonaten die berühmten Castraure (Artischocken) von Mazzorbo produzieren.
Ein Teil des in den Gärten angebauten Gemüses wird im Restaurant Venissa, das mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet wurde, und in der Osteria Contemporanea, die eher ungezwungene Küche bietet, verwendet.

We did a wine tour and tasting at Venissa Winery with a a group of 5 people. It was excellent! Our English speaking tour guide was engaging, laid back and really knew his stuff. The wine is so fantastic and the story behind the vineyard is fascinating. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but saw some of the food and it looked amazing!

« L’osteria » dépend de l’hôtel. La déception est toujours un peu amère quand la qualité attendue n’est pas au rendez-vous. À partir d’un certain prix, il faut un minimum de service. Le couvert est facturé, alors une nappe propre plutôt que du bois qui colle aux coudes. Un service de deux verres est un minimum. Même un jour de pluie on peut avoir envie de boire un peu d’eau. Un échantillonnage de petits pains plutôt que deux gros morceaux de pains coupés dans une miche. On est pas à la cantine. Des serviettes en état, sans déchirure, ça n’est pas une option. Des couverts appropriés aux plats, viande ou poisson, ça va de soi. Des rince-doigts s’il y a du poisson...
Quand aux plats eux-mêmes, j’ai eu bien de meilleures surprises que celle de ce soir. Le goût reste subjectif, mais la prétention esthétique d’un plat ne lui confère pas automatiquement une qualité gustative.
C’est le seul restaurant ouvert le soir, hors saison, si vous dormez sur place… pas le choix …

Gestito da ragazzi giovani, ma preparati, volenterosi e precisi.
Ottima soluzione per un weekend adeguatamente lungo. Gli ambienti sono molto recenti e puliti. Particolarmente bello il ristorante Osteria contemporanea.
Mazzorbo è collegato e a poche centinaia di metri da Burano. Vaporetto per Venezia vicinissimo al Venissa Resort
Assolutamente da consigliare
