DOUJA D'OR

Every year in September, the streets of the pretty town of Asti celebrate wine. This joyous fair, whose origins go back a long way, takes its name from the duja, a kind of traditional pitcher once used in the surrounding countryside to hold wine... This ancient and authentic festivity, not to be missed if you're in the area, includes an oenological competition, of course, followed by lectures, musical evenings and a wide variety of tastings.
