FLANNEL GARDEN
Located one kilometre west of the city centre. This garden enjoys the same reputation as the humble administrator's garden. It extends over more than 2 hectares: you can admire the effects of light and shade obtained thanks to the layout of buildings and rockeries, or the optical effects created thanks to the construction of mountains and water bodies. This 16th century ensemble was called the Eastern Garden. It was renamed in 1895 "jardin de la Flânerie". The complex is divided into three parts: in the centre the lake, in the east, the residential area including the Five Peaks Hall (Wufengxian Guan), a place of relaxation and entertainment where all the major receptions were held. To the west, natural areas have been created. The garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
