It stands at the gates of Padua along the Battle Canal, near the bridge of La. The villa was commissioned by the Venetian ambassador Nicolò Molin in 1597 and carried out by Vincenzo Scamozzi. It has a square central plan with an ionic column pronaos, a channel side, which clearly recalls the Rotonda del Palladio. During the First World War, the villa was used by senior military commanders and was the seat of the talks that preceded the armistice of Villa Giusti (3 November 1918) which ended the war.
