CBT KARA SUU

As a connoisseur of the region, Bazarkul can organize treks to the Sary Chelek reserve or simple mountain hikes around Kara Suu. It is also possible, provided you have a good week ahead of you, to join Talas for an exploration of the Chatkal Mountains totally off the beaten track. There is a pass at 3,400 m to cross and many petroglyphs to observe along the way. The hike is off the marked trails, so you'll need to plan ahead to make sure a guide is available.
