Several companies offer a short cruise from the port of Hout Bay to observe a seal colony.

There's a seal colony on Duiker Island. A small cruise from the port of Hout Bay to this rock, along the coast and even as far as Cape Town in the summer. Several companies operate in the harbour, but the smallest boats are those of Drumbeat Charters. No need to make reservations, boats leave all the time. On the wharf, the seals are ready to put on a real show to get a fish. Seals are still wild animals and if they appear to be big, very tender beasts, they can bite you!

Small cruise that leads us after a quarter of an hour to the Seal Island. We discover them on many rocks or swim, play, and then return Nothing exceptional Nice despite everything.
