UXO LAO

This local association has been working for several years to clear UXO (Unexploded Ordinance) infested areas of mines, as these bombs did not explode on impact during the secret war. Ammunition and armaments are on display in this centre. Sekong is the fifth most impacted province in the country. It was heavily bombed during the Indochina War due to its geographical location along the Ho Chi Minh trail.
