Padaria Ribeiro exists since 1878, it is a very beautiful traditional bakery in which you want to try everything. It's a good thing! The pastries in miniature version will delight the gourmets who want to discover the salty and sweet specialties of Porto. Delicious almond and passion fruit tarts, cod fritters or devilishly good camarão rissol. Special mention forthe pastéis de Chaves, small breads stuffed with minced meat. To make it all go down, we order a good squeezed orange juice or an excellent coffee.

An excellent address for pastéis de nata, perhaps the best in town. The puff pastry is a success, crisp and golden to perfection, the cream is glossy and divine in the mouth, and the pastéis are perfectly sweet. In this chain, which can be found all over Portugal, everything is made on the spot, before the amazed eyes of customers, and the laboratory is visible from the street. A must-have from Porto. Maximum pleasure at minimum cost.

Here is a cosy place with a vintage decoration and a nice soundtrack where you will feel at home very quickly. Lots of choices, savory and sweet, to snack on at any time of the day. Generous salads, great toasts, homemade cheesecakes. Excellent tea (hot or iced). Ideal for a brunch or tea time alone or with friends. Some customers come here with their computer to work (almost every table has an electrical outlet) but it's also a great place to write your postcards! Lovely waitresses.
