This former "cottage" of a representative in the US Congress, built in 1870, looks like a huge European manor house. It dominates Easton Bay in all its splendour and welcomes visitors since 1945. Its 20 rooms, all different, are witnesses of bygone opulence. Antique furniture, heavy drapery, paintings and antique trinkets strive to perpetuate this tradition of style and comfort in New England. The restaurant "Spiced Pear" is very well known. Recommended reservation.
