For nearly 20 years, this restaurant has been offering American specialities, finely cooked from quality products. The hungriest will opt for the "tavern steak", which has been very successfully cooked, while others will choose the lighter dish of the day or a fish dish. All this is served in a lightly smoothed atmosphere of a chic and contemporary brasserie. You can feel that Max is THE restaurant in town, the one where you come to talk business at lunch and relax with friends in the evening. It's a Hartford institution, in short.
