Allen Albee Beach

On the western shore of Lake Wentworth, this is the beach where the inhabitants of Wolfeboro like to swim. It is a three-quarters hour walk from the town centre, or less than ten minutes by car. It is a narrow beach, but it has a variety of facilities: changing areas, outdoor showers, picnic tables and even barbecues under the trees. In summer, you can swim in the warm waters of the lake and then take refuge in the shade of the pine trees. A very pleasant beach, ideal for families.
