Historic site of 11 buildings, one of which was the birthplace of John Adams in Quincy.
This historic site consists of 11 buildings, including a house dating from 1722 which was the birthplace of John Adams, the second president of the United States. The story of four generations of the Adams family is told here. From the birthplace of John Adams to that of the sixth president of the country, John Quincy Adams in 1767. The President's Library, which contains nearly 12,800 books, is a highlight of the visit. Tours last two hours and depart from the Visitor Center.
