Gallery dedicated to John Orne Johnson Frost who left an important collection of paintings in Marblehead

John Orne Johnson Frost began painting at the age of 69. Although he took up painting late in life, the town native left Marblehead with a large collection of paintings. The artist disappeared in 1928 and left his mark on the town, which he called "the best place on earth to live. Aside from this gallery dedicated to him, you will probably see some of his paintings in local art museums.
