McDonald's Route 66 museum presents the history of the chain and a multitude of objects that accompanied its evolution
It was here that brothers Maurice and Richard McDonald opened the first McDonald's in December 1948 (demolished in 1976). The rights of the brand were bought in 1961 by a representative, Ray Kroc, who quickly became one of the most famous American businessmen. This museum presents the entire history of the chain, as well as a multitude of objects that accompanied its evolution. Albert Okura, CEO of the Juan Pollo restaurant chain, now owns the museum.
