Service is limited to domestic flights, primarily from Las Vegas. This location also serves as a heliport with several companies operating most of the year. The current airport is built on the site of the original Grand Canyon Airport which was built in 1925. This site opened in October 1965 and the airport terminal was completed and dedicated on October 20, 1967. The airport is owned by the State of Arizona. It is the busiest airport in the state after Phoenix and Tucson.

GRAND CANYON DEPOT

Railway station

Built in 1909-1910, Grand Canyon Depot is part of the history of Grand Canyon National Park. Designed by architect Francis W. Wilson, with a two-story wooden structure, the building was constructed after the first train arrived from William in 1901. Originally, the first floor was reserved for offices and the upper floor was occupied by the stationmaster's family. Today, the whole building is used for railroad services to passengers. The historic train from Williams arrives here daily.

TRANS CANYON SHUTTLE

The company operates between Grand Canyon's South Rim and North Rim between spring and fall. The entire trip takes about 4.5 hours and reservations are required via the website. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance of the departure date. In the off-season (mid-October through mid-November), Trans Canyon Shuttle also offers a single schedule in the morning from the South Rim and in the early afternoon. The shuttle makes two stops along the way (Cameron and Marble Canyon). Bicycles can be transported.
