GOLD DOME

This geodesic dome with a golden roof housed a bank since its construction in 1958. Saved from demolition in 2003, it was later transformed into a cultural center and into office and commercial space. There was an exhibition on the work of Richard Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983), the architect who popularized this type of structure. This dome is the fifth of its kind to have been built, out of the thousands now in the world. It was closed at the end of 2022 without any information on its future being announced.
