Milk bottle of about 3 meters high, dating from 1948 and perched on a roof of a building in Oklahoma City
The Milk Bottle Grocery is a 10-foot-tall milk bottle perched on the roof of a few square feet building built in 1930. What was originally a red brick streetcar stop at the corner of North Classen Boulevard and North West 24th Street has been transformed over time into a tiny commercial space with a succession of signs (grocery store, dry cleaner, real estate office, fast food restaurant, bank...). The bottle dates from 1948. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
