ROUTE 66 RIBBON ROAD/SIDEWALK HIGHWAY LANDMARK

On the side of Route 66 is this marker dating from 1922. It is located at the intersection of U.S Route 66 and E 140 Rd, at the southern end of a former 15.46 mile section of Route 66 that connected Miami to Afton. It can be followed from Miami along S Main Street, then across the Neosho River on E St SW to E 13 Rd. Then turn right to S 540 Rd, then left to E 140 Rd. Turn right to the marker.
