JOE JOST'S

Opened in 1924, this is Long Beach's oldest bar, as well as one of its most popular. Regulars come for the wide selection of beers and the famous pickled eggs served on a small mound of pretzels with chili peppers. Other menu favorites include Joe's Special, a delicious hot dog with Swiss cheese - and made with a sausage prepared with the house spices - and Marmion's Peanuts, freshly roasted peanuts, one of the establishment's signatures.
