Remarkable garden at Bagnoles-de-l’Orne in Normandy.
In the heart of the Andaines Forest, this green space is full of charm and softness. Delicate shades of colours and scents are revealed during the visit. Imagined and created by Annie and Laurent Blanchais twenty years ago, this garden spreads over 2,500 m². A hedge of shrubs and hundred-year-old trees serves as a backdrop to this living picture where many varieties of clematis, perennials, geraniums, shrubs, etc., bloom. The blooming of roses and their associates creates incredible scenes. Workshops are also offered.

Ou quand visiter un jardin rime avec bonne action...
Au pied de mon arbre je vivais heureux" chantait Georges Brassens.
La jardinière, danseuse chorégraphe de métier a parfaitement maîtrisé sa reconversion.
Et comme reconversion rime avec passion ça donne parfois non pas une propriétaire retirée mais un jardin retiré.
Je ne suis pas spécialiste, encore moins botaniste, ou même horticulteur mais je dois vous dire que ce lieu mérite bien un petit détour lors de votre passage à Bagnoles de l'Orne.
