My husband and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our time at Terranea. The staff was so kind, the food was excellent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Leilani at Bashi was the reason we didn’t want to leave the resort for dining options - she was exceptional and the food was great, so great that we made three trips to Bashi for the delicious food and to see Leilani!
The falconry tour was our favorite activity. Joe, the Falconer, was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about birds. He has turned us into bird watchers! We hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful resort with top notch amenities, appointments & restaurants. Staff was incredible - so gracious & kind and they consistently went above & beyond - no request seemed to rattle them and they were so quick to want to accommodate you. Restaurants were fabulous - Nelson had fantastic views - loved the poke bowl! Bashi was also exceptional. We were there for a company reward trip/conference and all the group dinners were lovely. Everything at the resort was pricey as expected for So Cal, but their shopping was sorely lacking as they had only one store with golf merch and a "boutique" whose items were delusionally over priced... Wanted to purchase something for our daughter and noticed a recycled-looking retro sweatshirt with a rock band logo... $300! Seriously? It was laughable. Cashmere pashimas so thin you could see through them & gaudy costume jewelry that again were riculously over-priced for the poor quality of most items. If you're going to charge prices that are that steep, make sure they are quality items. The Sea Beans Cafe offered quite a bit in the way of food & beverage options but had a poor selection of sundries. I appreciated that a staff member suggested I use instacart when I realized I had forgotten to pack my hair brush. Four stars due to the lack of shopping variety & poor quality of over-priced items. Unfortunately you're at their mercy because there is really no decent shopping remotely close to the resort. Everything else was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful location with great service. We have stayed at this property multiple times, but returned first time after the pandemic.

The service, food and hotel grounds were above expectations.

We did had a hiccup after checking out and closing our portfolio. I had a charge that appeared on my credit card the week after that I did not recognize. An amount was subsequently charged to me that belong to another guest, we share the same last name. I had to call twice to discuss the dining charges I was paying for but did not incur. I don‘t hold this against the hotel management as we all have good days and bad days, but I do think this is an error that can be easily avoided as many guests have similar last names. When posting charges, there should be additional checks to ensure charges are being posted to the right room number. So…always check your portfolio.

Spectacular resort with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands. Excellent outdoor walking and hiking trails on site as well as in the surrounding area. Great food options available at the 3 on-site restaurants. Excellent coffee bar too!

Wow! What an amazing location and service to match. From Dawed at Bell Services/Valet to Samantha at the Front Desk and Rebecca in the Lobby Bar everyone greeted you with a smile and gave you the utmost attention. It felt like I had stayed there 100 times. 5 Star all around!

Recently stayed with my family in one of the Casitas. It was wonderful from start to finish. Beautiful property and views, great good (we love Bashi, Sea Beans, and Solviva), plenty of opportunity to relax and restore, and kid-friendly activities without the resort feeling like it caters exclusively to families.

Overall Terranea strikes the right balance between activity and relaxation. There are beautiful trails overlooking the ocean, paddle boarding, yoga classes, and pools (family friendly and adults only).

I've been twice and would gladly return. The staff is lovely and the accommodations fantastic. Highly recommend.

We showed up and did everything because I’ve asked they sent us and Nelsen they couldn’t give us any food. It’s six hours and we’re starving and they’re just pushing us from person to person. Thumbs down.

Used to get free lobster on your birthday or something. Then the Clampus and ratchet peeps found out so they had their Chef de Cuisine SHUT IT DOWN. Now it’s fancy 100% of the time. Thanks For the memories ????

This place is awesome! My team and I have performed a few events here and the staff and venue is always very accommodating! It's an awesome spot with lots of great food and a great setting! Highly recommend heading here if you've never been!

We had a great time visiting with family friends and the kids really enjoyed the warm pool and didn’t want to leave. It was awesome that when it was nighttime, the coffee shop had s’mores that we made with the fire pit next to the pool. Very much an amazing location for a staycation and it really does seem like a getaway vibe worth coming back to.

The resort is spectacular, from service to landscaping, you can feel you are in a special place from the time you arrive. The pools, the restaurants, the trails, there are a ton of options for things to do.
Our kids had an awesome time too at the kids club!

Beautiful location, as you come in can turn to the left for public parking so no need to pay for valet parking. Few restaurants and coffee shops on site as well as other luxuries. The beach also worth checking out with the little Cove as well. Golf course looks amazing, although didn't have a chance to play.

There are no words....I was undone by the quality of people, atmosphere, beauty, and options I had for the day. Best Xmas gift ever. It was especially meaningful to me to be on the same land that I used to visit with my dad when it was Marineland as a child. How come y'all didn't keep the revolving tower? My birthday and wedding anniversary is this month as well as the anniversary of his passing. Not sad, he would have wanted this day for me. I'd like to make a shout out and Thank You to Yuka in the Spa, She and everyone I met, guided me through every step with grace and friendliness that I will always remember. I have stayed at this resort multiple times, but it truly keeps getting better and better with each stay. I need to highlight the Catalina kitchen staff especially. I woke up very late, but still wanted breakfast and did not want to go off-site. My server Mota made it happen although they were not serving breakfast anymore. He was so nice, and Heidi got the food out fast to me. I also cannot forget to highlight Daniel the bartender who my entire stay never failed to put a smile on my face every time I was there, serving me up some delicious drinks.

Overall, Terranea Resort exceeded all our expectations and provided us with a dream getaway we'll never forget. We can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories.

This was our first time at Terrenea, but definitely wont be our last unless NVIDIA tanks in the next 9 months and turns into the next Enron. We stayed in a Casita which is poorly named because they’re more like Casotes. They are huge with amazing views of the ocean and quick access to the cliff-top trail system that overlooks the ocean. If you did it right and were born sterile, Terrenea is a dream for relaxation. If you did it wrong, like us, and had 2 little accidents via IVF, then Terrenea will still blow your mind with a kids club that’s like daycare on performance enhancing drugs. The staff seems to genuinely love kids and instead of eye-rolls when you drop them off for a 3 hour stint, you get warm smiles and enthusiasm usually only seen from the checkout stand at Trader Joe’s. All the staff is genuine and accommodating. Thomas, one of the shuttle drivers, was like Santa Claus for the kids, conjuring baubles and stuffies for the kids like a David Copperfield. We really loved Felipe as our waiter at Catalina Kitchen who made the service as enjoyable as the meal.

Great restaurants, atmosphere, pools, climate, trails, views, and people.

The only thing I’d change is making the kids club available 24/7.

Enjoyed a spa day and overnight with my neice to celebrate her birthday.

After best day ever to relax in glorious surroundings before and after massage
We could have spent entire day in spa but we had delicious dinner at Catalina Kitchen Jennifer was the best in overseeing our service

We are looking forward to Nelson’s today for lunch
